Success stories - how our solutions make companies more successful in service

An industrial IoT platform in the wind farm

Having started out as a wind turbine manufacturer, the Nordex Group now supports wind turbines all over the world. The Hamburg-based company uses a wide range of sensor data to ensure the optimal operation of wind farms. A new IIoT platform is to network and monitor almost 1000 existing wind farms with around 7000 turbines and associated components.

A comprehensive reorganization of the IT infrastructure required a systematic proof of concept (PoC). The logicline team provided support right from the start with its expertise in cloud architectures and platforms.

In volatile and competitive business environments such as the energy market, speed proves to be a strong competitive advantage. Real-time access to machines results in many advantages for Nordex, but also for the operators of Nordex wind farms, from the development of new services to extended predictive maintenance.

Digitization solution in the foundry industry

Our customer’s induction furnaces are among the most advanced in the world. Foundries, forges, steelworks and other representatives of the metalworking industry use the company’s technology for melting, casting, heating and holding iron, steel and non-ferrous metals.

The company is pursuing a comprehensive digital strategy with a clear vision: in order to make production in foundries and forges as lean and efficient as possible, systems, service and maintenance must be digitally linked and coordinated – regardless of the systems and manufacturers used. Our customer took an important first step in this direction with the introduction of a digital platform that brings together machine information, maintenance and service requirements and even training sessions.

Digital transformation in the printing industry

A perfect customer experience, meaningful machine data or efficient maintenance cycles are the competitive factors in the printing press industry today. Our customer, a leading printing press manufacturer primarily for packaging printing, sees particular growth opportunities in the service business.

The main aim is to increase customer loyalty with the help of digital services and products. The solution goes far beyond a traditional service platform. Among other things, the aim is to be able to offer a subscription-based model for new services and digital products, for example in connection with predictive maintenance.

We supported the implementation from the feasibility study and proof of concept through to the minimum viable product. The solution is implemented on the Salesforce platform and uses the Customer Experience Cloud in addition to the Service Cloud. The company can now provide a portal and increase customer loyalty through additional services and digital products.

An IoT-based service portal for the textile industry

A traditional Swiss company with over 160 years of experience is a global leader in the manufacture of machines and systems for textile finishing and tire cord production. The company stands for innovative system solutions and has a global presence with numerous subsidiaries and service stations.

A new platform for digital business models has been developed to meet the increasing demands of customers and the digital transformation.

A modern customer portal was developed for the textile finishing sector that makes all relevant system data transparent and centrally accessible. The platform integrates various data sources and systems, offers flexible expansion options and promotes more efficient communication between customers and service teams.

The technological basis is a combination of the Salesforce Service Cloud and the Experience Cloud with IoT Asset Management, which has been tailored precisely to the needs of users in the dyehouse sector.
